Our contest seeks to determine the World Champion of NFL Score Predicting using a system that tabulates wins taking into account straight up picks, vs. spread picks, and picks against the over/under.
Members of the NSPL, which was founded in 1988 by Gerry Shultz, compete for the bragging rights of being a World Champion and a chance at winning our trophies and, for Premium members, $1000. Originally a local bunch of people near Boston, our membership now includes professional sportswriters, bloggers, pundits, and, still, people who love football. Our current commissioner is Hope Maruzo.

In 2023 — I had a goal to improve on NFL predictions against the spread while not letting that distract me from enjoying the actual game. I did more homework with traditional stats and betting trends. That strategy worked, and I had my most-accurate year to date. I won the 2023-24 World Championship!
